Un altro lavoro vecchio ripreso e rivisto.

In questo periodo sto revisionando parecchio il mio materiale, per sistemare e archiviare i lavori, ma anche perché ho bisogno di ricapitolare sul mio lavoro e su me stesso. Con questo termine voglio ricordare il metodo di riflessione e meditazione che Carlos Castaneda suggeriva in alcuni suoi libri. Chiudersi al buio, in se stessi, a meditare su cosa si è stati partendo da cosa si è fatto.

In questo processo,( far pulizia nello studio o nella casa è, secondo me, un vero e proprio processo di trasformazione, metafora del fare chiarezza in se stessi) trovo, arrotolati o accatastati, vecchia lavori mai finiti o appena abbozzati, come nel caso di questo e del dipinto di qualche post precedente (vedi qui). Dopo averlo trovato, l’ho ripreso e gli ho dato un senso, cercando di mantenere quello che era lo spirito dei lavori di una decina di anni fa.

In this period I am reviewing a lot of my material, to arrange and store work, but also because I need to recap on my work and myself. By this term I want to remember the method of reflection and meditation that Carlos Castaneda suggested in some of his books. Shut in the dark, in yourself, to meditate on what you have been, starting from what has been done. In this process, (I think to clean the studio or the house is, in my opinion, a real transformation process, metaphor of doing clarity in themselves) I find, rolled or stacked, old work unfinished or barely sketched, as in the case of this work and for a painting of some previous post (see here). I repainted it again and I gave it a sense, trying to maintain what was the spirit of the work of ten years ago.
